DAMAGE_POWER_* Constant Group

Determines the magical strength of a melee or missile attack (for harming creatures with damage reduction). Does not determine actual magical bonus (see DAMAGE_BONUS_*), just determines what damage reductions an attack bypasses.

Note for EffectDamageReduction don't use these; instead use the amount of damage reduction you require (eg for x/+15 use 15 in the value).

Constants

DAMAGE_POWER_ENERGY 6
Harms creatures no matter what their damage resistance is, as if the spell was a force spell (like Magic Missile).

For EffectDamageReduction this seems to act identically to DAMAGE_POWER_PLUS_SIX so +5 won't penetrate it, but +6 and above will.

DAMAGE_POWER_NORMAL 0
Standard, non-magical damage source. Will not penetrate any form of Soak Damage.

For EffectDamageReduction it would, well, mean all damage would penetrate it, making it a very useless effect to apply.
