Welcome to the NWN Lexicon
The NWN Lexicon Project is intended to be a community-based NWScript Language Reference and Resource Guide for BioWare's Neverwinter Nights role playing game. The game has been given a new lease of life with Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition released by Beamdog.
The NWN Lexicon is always in development, with value added by errata and information provided by the NWN community. It is the intent of this project to make the most complete, concise, and easy to use reference available. Judging by community opinion it appears that we are succeeding in our goals - but in order to improve the quality of the Lexicon we rely on the gathered knowledge of the individual script writers and module creators.
If you are interested in helping by contributing to the project, the best way to help is to join the Neverwinter Vault discord and ask to contribute in the #wiki-collaboration channel.
We are also trying to build the code examples for all of the functions detailed in the Lexicon and welcome small working code snippets of scripts that use functions which currently do not have a code example. Financial donations, while nice, are neither requested nor accepted.
A list of Contributors to the older versions of the Lexicon is available.
You will find further NWN and NWN:EE modding information at the nwn.wiki site.
The game is reasonably well documented at the NWN Fandom wiki site.
A snapshot dump of the wiki pages (in html format) is currently unavailable. We will try and produce one in the future.
